Urbanistic Web Design – Learning Geography with Web Design

Traveling can be considered one of the oldest activities people have been involved in. Long ago to be called a traveler: first of all, one had to consider himself settled, living in one place, and getting all the benefits of living there and then to leave it all behind and hit the road.

In a psychological sense traveling allows an individual go beyond the face of everyday life, change their everyday perceptions and consciousness. While traveling, one can perceive himself and the world around him as never before. When “changing the viewpoint” new faces of life open beyond anyone who calls himself a traveler.

Nowadays if you want to be called a traveler there is no need to feel something of that kind, all you need is to have an International Passport and a number of stamps from several custom services.

But actually we can travel even without getting up from the couch – all hail Google Maps street view!

But apart from that “travel program from Google” we can travel while surfing specific groups of websites, I’m not talking about travel websites or companies, I’d like to share with you a round-up of websites where some large cities play the most important part of the design. So let’s have a look at websites that make the most of pictures of cities.
