I’ve just started a new job where I’ve been charged with righting a sinking ship in bad shape due to seven years of being run into the rocks by a person who did not understand marketing, branding, design or the web. This book looks like it could have interesting, provocative and useful ideas – another bucket that could help me bail out the water and get to work on patching the hull.

Seems like an interesting book, might chase it down on Amazon at some point.

A book with a lot of experiences in it, I wish I would be the lucky person to get such experienced full book

I have a wealth of personality and charm but still don’t have a giant suitcase full of cash …. I’m running a new design and marketing business by the seat of my pants with a great business partner, but mostly I have a nice portfolio, accompanied by its evil twin, Mega Student Loans. I can use a book like this to do frivolous things like put food on my table; I love design theory and value concepts above all, but without awareness of current trends, I’m becoming obsolete without having begun. (Why does “begun” seem to not be a real word? It sounds like it means “to arm someone”). The whole marketing model has changed and I wanna know everything so I can be a superhero on top of the world! And have food to eat.

Started my final, fantastic and frightful year studying industrial design, and have to commit myself to a major project to propel my portfolio towards ‘money and success’, and am absolutely stumped on where to go with this opportunity. Love design literature to shreds (metaphorically) and would love to educate myself about facets of design that I have never experienced! Enjoy your site for its inspiring anecdotes, never change! Love Sarah

This book will inspire me to take my skills to creative depths unchartered in my brain.
