Logo designs come in many forms, and one of my favourites is the use of unusual, interesting type. The lettering that’s used for a logo design can have a huge impact on the way the final design feels, and the personality that it carries with it. The same word written with a chunky, rounded type could appear playful, while a more cursive, hand-written style could come across as elegant and stylish.
Typography has a remarkably powerful impact on the way designs come across, and this is especially true in logos. I wanted to highlight some beautifully crafted logo designs that all use lettering brilliantly. These are designs that have put the type at the forefront of the design, and have made use of custom lettering to make sure that the logo truly fits the brand identity that they represent. I hope you find the collection interesting.
