Conclusion

Have these designs left you drooling? They all send a strong message that there is something wonderful behind the packaging – whether they are designs or redesigns for a brand or designs for promotional items. An even bigger task for packaging designers is to create designs to tempt the parents to buy the product, then to induce the children to want to consume it. There are some amazing examples of such designs in this round-up.

Which of these products, if any, do you think you could not walk past without buying in the supermarket? Do you think they convey the intended message? Have you come across any other outstanding food and drink packaging that we may have missed from this list?

These are some fantastic examples of creative packaging and are very inspirational to look through. They all send a strong message promoting the content of the packaging. I have seen the Babees Honey packaging before and I think it works very well with the product. However, I think there could have been an extra element with the label being the bees wings, although this may not have worked with the stylish style it already incorporated. All in all this a a great collection.

sill waiting for an egg carton that allows you to see if the eggs are broken, save hours a year & make one not look so desperate to find the perfect 6 eggs: )

While some beautiful packaging is shown, it is frustrating to see shadows and reflections that don’t match up or are poorly done. Example: “Fresh&Easy” – the reflection on the second bottle from the left doesn’t line up. :(

QUESTIONS: Will you all buy something just for the beautiful package design even though when you have tried the product and you find it not good? Will you collect and keep the beautiful package design as souvenir after use?

    I will for both. :)

I like those Divine olives. Not only is the main container an appropriate throwback, but the olives on the drawstring are a standout esp on a supermarket shelf next to ordinary tins and jars.

The are all lovely…if I may suggest for the good of the nation would to encourage one beautiful container for tea, coffee, and all food you store in the home. Then the shift moves to buying in bulk creating less trash…as much as I love these i would become a hoarder…
