Calligraffiti is a combination of calligraphy and graffiti. It is about the art of writing and very often uses Arabic or Japanese characters, sometimes using the Western alphabet in Eastern style. The father of Calligraffiti is Niels Shoe Meulman, who started to experiment with mixing calligraphy with graffiti: traditional handwriting with a metropolitan attitude.
Currently, this style of art takes a few names: Urban Calligraphy, Streetart Calligraphy and more, and there are some masters of the art such as ‘Shoe’ himself, El Seed, Simon Silaidis and Greg Papagrigoriou, all of whom are represented in this round-up.

Conclusion
I only included wall graffiti as I consider that calligraphy on paper or canvas is purely calligraphy and doesn’t fall into the category of calligraffiti.
