Hello Jameel,
Great presentation - I loved the art! I was wondering if you contract to do this kind of work. I have a head shot of myself that I would love to have made into one of these text/font pieces. If you do these, can you contact me to let me know what the cost is? pastor @ vicksburg-nazarene . org

It is great to see some of the creative techniques used with typography to make such inspirational portraits. From this selection one of the main aspects I noticed was that some of the portraits have combined typography and illustration, where others have stuck completely with typography. But even with the full typography pieces you can see that some have used legible typography elements as part of their design where as others have used the typography to add more detail to the portraits. All in all this is a fantastic collection and inspirational to everyone with a passion for typography.
I'd love to see a tutorial on how to create one.
I like the article, and the examples ARE beautiful -- but come on, can't you take the extra step and actually credit the artists?
