Modern web technologies allow us to book a flight, hotel or a ticket very easily using the internet. Travel websites save us plenty of time because we can plan our vacation from home. Effective travel website design should be attractive for the users, it should include all the essential information and be easy to use.

Web Design Showcase of Travel Websites

The most common technique used in travel websites is big photos used as backgrounds or main elements of the website. This works very well because by using photos you can show visitors what to expect from the journey and help them to make their decision. Another important factor is functionality of the website. You should pay attention to the navigation, reservation and checkout processes.

However in this showcase we want to focus on design and show you some beautiful travel websites to inspire you for your next project. Conclusion

As you can see in this showcase travel websites have especially colorful and attractive designs compared to other niche websites. Pictures of exotic places and the traveling spirit dominate in this industry and it's really visible in the travel website designs. Some of the listed examples use simple layouts with elegant color schemes but others use vivid colors and intriguing pictures.

I am very happy to read your articles it’s very useful for me, and I am completely satisfied with your Article. A good website design provider should be able to build design that is attractive, easy to use, fast-loading, focus on its content as well as its relevance to the main theme, and consistent.
This is a new era where everything revolves around the Internet. So now these are some fantastic deals! Fellow web designers unit, we form one of the largest communities with great resources to share.

This is the first article I've seen showcasing travel websites, which is a nice change. I think the main thing they all have in common is the great use of imagery which is a great focal point for this industry. I especially like the ones that use a full page image in the background and incorporate it into the design and layout of the content. There is a clear difference between the target audience and purposes for each site; the cleaner and more corporate looking sites are aimed at people looking for flights and hotel, whereas the more fun and designed websites are targeting customers looking for outdoor holidays and something a bit more exciting. My favourites from this collection are Alaska Zipline and Idaho.
