The inspiration behind this theme, came from the amazing Swiss, Dutch and Netherlands graphic designers. The modern simplicity and the grid system inspired me to create this unique theme style combined with WordPress CMS. With the NeueGrafik theme the focus is on your work, designers are looking to showcase their portfolio with emphasis on the originality of their artwork, and not the theme itself.

The theme looks very good, but what I really don't get is: why should anyone use a portfolio theme done by someone else? :) Shouldn't the portfolio itself be a display of the designer's skill?

  Kagemitsu, this wp theme is mostly for graphic designers, illustrators, photographers most of them are not web designers, and they want to use portfolio wordpress theme, where they can easy change and update their artwork, If you are web designer then yes I agree with you, they can design their own portfolio website,

Am just learning WordPress. Will be setting up a photography/portfolio site.
I like this theme very much, but am aware that I need to be available on mobile devices.
