Personalization (and the ability to add your own content) are key in today's websites. Failure (or outright refusal) to add that technology will have you stuck in the backwaters with a limp, listless site. The time to put in that stuff IS EXACTLY WHEN YOU HAVE FEW READERS, AT THE BEGINNING - not trying to wedge it in at the endAll in all, this was a good article as it raised issues that every designer should consider, although it could have been edited and proofread to clear up some spelling and grammatical errors and to add deeper./more indepth content (which was good overall)I would give this article a "C+" meaning it wasnt a waste of time to read, and I would probably recommend it to somebody (mostly a noob)

did anyone even READ the article??

"A website requires a substantial quantity of content and a large number of readers before personalization becomes practical."

No.

All it needs is ONE.<br
